- Synopsis
- The story is about a romantic encounter of a musician and a princess during WWI in a hospital. They want to play a duet at a soiree but while they practicize the invitation for the party is cancelled and the castle becomes the meeting place of secret negotations. The archduke who is in love with the princess demands an oath of silnce and is quite jealous of the musician. When the latter returns on the battlefield he's called away by a faked cable from the princess, but he meets the archduke who accuses him of desertion. Returning to his troops he gets injured and captured. Back in Vienna in peace times lots has changed but the accusation still stands...
