- Synopsis
- Isa is twenty years old, her only piece of luggage is a rudsack, and she has an optimistic attitude to the hardships of life. She arrives in Lille, after passing through a number of other cities, seeking out odd jobs at every place. Never the same type of job and never for long.
Wherever she goes she adds to the edifice she is patiently building through her wishes and her generosity, not deliberately but in an almost instinctive way.
She meets another twenty year old girl called Marie. A girl of Northern France, solitary like Isa, but for different reasons. Marie is unsociable, hypersensitive and in rebellion against her background. The film tells of the relationship that each has with the outside world and the threads of life they hopefully weave.- Rankings Position
