Synopsis

At an guest house in the Aran islands, two American backpackers vie for the affections of the withdrawn yet beautiful Rose, a young woman who is haunted by her past. Rose hides a dark secret, and she walks the island as if in a dream and the film takes on a beautifully surreal and dream-like tone, violently punctuated by nightmarish images from Rose’s past.
