Synopsis

After the robbery of a bank Joe Maybe will assume the identity of his famous chaser Jim Noonan, a federal police agent, while visiting a city, he is confronted by the Sheriff Kyle. With the mistaken identity and fearful for his freedom, he is forced to stay in place working for the police. When one of its partners in robberies, Tessa, appears and reveals his identity almost by accident, they now pretend to be a couple, and gain shelter, food, and respect for the people of the city and the sheriff. Trapped in this false relationship and in an unexpected situation, they begin to create strong feelings for each other. But when the boyfriend of the young Tessa appears to rob the bank of the village, both will have to choose between keeping their dignity and new life or return to the seductive world of crime.
