- Centuries ago, Salem was known as a nerve center of evil, where witches used to meet to carry out their secret rituals. Today, now just another city in Massachusetts, there’s not much of all that evil past in Salem...At least on appearance. Heidi hosts a successful radio show revolving around hard rock; one day, she receives a promo record from a band called The Lords. Their music, strange and sinister, will disturb her profoundly, causing her nightmares and hallucinations. Rob Zombie returns, with what is probably his darkest film; a journey to the unfathomable depths of terror including many old genre acquaintances.
