- Synopsis
- After the end of World War II, Martina is arrested for prostitution. While in court, her older sister Irene, who thought Martina dead, sees her and uses her position as a successful psychologist to treat her. She's determined to help her younger sister, who is equally as determined to remain silent about her past, maintaining her independence as well as her chosen way of life.
