- Synopsis
- It’s the new film adaptation of a famous Chinese story, about how 4 generations of the same family sacrificied their life to save their country from foreign invaders. Like most Chinese productions, the subject has this patriotic vibe, hoping this family drama will at least provides some good entertainment. With Ronny Yu avoiding the pitfalls of propaganda – just like he did with Fearless, even though the film was criticized on this matter. By the way, it’s produced by Raymond Wong, the man behind the Donnie Yen’s Ip man films.
