Cheaper by the Dozen 2

Comedy Tom Baker (Steve Martin) and wife Kate (Bonnie Hunt), hoping to bring their family together for a memorable summer vacation, take their 12 offspring to the rustic Lake Winnetka. But their retreat soon becomes cutthroat when they enter into a competition with the over-achieving members of a large family headed by Tom's long-time rival, Jimmy Muraugh (Eugene Levy).
Media Author Review
United States
Chicago Tribune
"Compared with Martin's first 'Dozen' and the recent mega-family movie 'Yours, Mine and Ours,' this sequel is Academy Award material"
United States
The Hollywood Reporter
"A textbook example of how not to mess with success, Cheaper by the Dozen 2 is every bit as forced, synthetic, banal and mawkish as the first edition."
United States
Variety
"Bland, canned but studiously professional sequel"
United States
New York Post
"The point isn't really to make you laugh. The film is supposed to make people feel good about their families, and it does a fine job of it."
United States
The New York Times
"This messy blend of silly slapstick and oversentimentality probably won't please children, teenagers or adults."
