United States
The Film Stage
"An understated, polished procedural that chronicles the way two reporters exposed Harvey Weinstein's decades of sexual abuse and assault (...) The subdued thrills of this movie come in small doses"
United States
SlashFilm
"As a journalism movie, it just feels rote. As a biographical drama, it feels too early. And as a Me Too movie, it feels too quiet"
United States
San Francisco Chronicle
"It isn’t exciting, because such movies never are. Rather, it is consistently, calmly and compellingly interesting, not the story of a crime but about the process of revealing it. (...) Rating: ★★★ (out of 4)"

"[It] never really finds much of a purpose to its dramatization of Kantor and Twohey’s investigation. There seems to be little to be said"
