- Synopsis
- TV Series (2004-2005). 2 Seasons. 415 Episodes. The story of the soap opera is based on two families from Buenos Aires, Los Roldán and Los Uriarte. The Uriarte's are an upper class family living in the upscale Barrio Norte; on the other hand, the Roldán's are of a more humble character and live in the neighborhood of La Paternal. It all begins when Mercedes Lozada (China Zorrilla), owner of one of the largest companies in the country, is saved by Tito Roldán (Miguel Ángel Rodríguez); at the moment she was trying to commit suicide. Unexpectedly, he proposes to Roldán to take charge of all his companies. Thus, Tito moves with his sister-in-law Yolanda (Claribel Medina), his transvestite brother Laisa (Florencia de la V) and their four children, to the luxurious mansion of Mrs. Mercedes, neighboring the Uriarte's house. From the beginning, the families will clash, although Emilio Uriarte (Gabriel Goity) will live a secret romance with Laisa.
