- Synopsis
- Nuremberg. The trials of Nazi war criminals in the aftermath of the Second World War are well known around the world as an example of justice delivered. Yet there were other unspeakable crimes stemming from that war, and for their victims, justice has been denied. Germany has reckoned with her wartime past. When, if ever, will Japan do the same? Behind Forgotten Eyes presents the stories of a few brave women who came forward and broke the silence protecting a past that some want to stay buried.
