- It follows the story of two pilots serving with the 132nd Air National Guard in Iowa, flying the venerable A-7 Corsair. The main character Lyle (Christopher Stone) is haunted by a mission that went wrong in Vietnam, hes the original "maverick" character, he thinks he can do it better than anyone else and guaranteed to win the Gunsmoke trophy, until a cayacking accident starts to change his life around...
