- Synopsis
- Julio, a young fisherman, leaves his village to go to Manila, where he hopes to find his fiancée Ligaya, who went there for her studies and from whom he hasn’t heard anything. In order to make a living, he gets a job as a worker on a construction site, but he will soon discover the slums of the Filipino capital.
