- A mid-seventeenth century, Dona Maria de Guzman, the most beautiful lady of Ronda, is disguised as a man and duels with Don Diego, to avenge the insult to her father, the Count of Arcos. After fleeing from justice in company with Don Juan who, deceived by the male clothes worn by the lady, believed to be his brother Don Alonso.
