- Millionaire Alberto, recently married to Dorotea, parachutes out of his airplane before it crashes in the mountains of Chihuahua. He hides in his brother Carlos’ ranch and Dorotea’s relatives in Mexico City assume that he is dead and that Carlos will inherit Alberto’s fortune. Alberto, not sure of Dorotea’s love, asks his brother to go meet her and her family. Dorotea, upset that Alberto has gone hunting without her, has gone to Acapulco and her relatives have to find a substitute to meet Carlos when he arrives in Mexico City.
