Synopsis
Madison Walker (Sarah Roemer) lives in New Orleans, working as a phone sex operator, doing everything she can to lead a normal life. But she suffers from Dissociative Identity Disorder. In an effort to end the confusion and chaos in her life, Madison attempts suicide. When she wakes up, she finds herself in a hospital where Dr. Barnes (Elisabeth Shue) offers help. Refusing, Madison steps outside the hospital to find herself in a world where she doesn't know who or what is real. In an attempt to find a cure, Madison locks herself in her apartment with a video camera for 30 days. Having been on medication for twenty years, she believes that by using the camera and being away from everything and everyone, she will be able to cure herself. Instead, Madison is thrown into the purgatory of her mind, dealing with a tortured past that she must face in order to be free.
