- Synopsis
- Mohsen, whose nickname is “Bastardo” because he was found in a rubbish bin when he was a baby, lives in a poor section of town. He is a man with no origins or history, who has always been excluded and rejected by most of his neighbors. With the intervention of his friend Khlifa, Mohsen has a GSM signal repeater installed on his roof, in exchange for a substantial monthly income. This aerial enables the neighborhood’s inhabitants to finally enjoy mobile telephones and the modernity of which they had been deprived until then. This operation makes him rich but it also incites envy, particularly in the unpleasant local bully, Larnouba, once his childhood friend, who is resentful of Mohsen’s sudden popularity.
