Synopsis

Fusajiro is a veteran tuna fisherman who lives with his daughter Tokiko. She's in love with Shunichi, who runs a tea shop but wants to become a fisherman himself. Fusajiro neither approves of her marrying a city boy, nor seems willing to teach the youngster the art of angling.
