- A free approach to the lost link with which the filmmaker from Granada José Val del Omar tried to reach the zenith of his work, made up of what he described as lyrical documentaries, film histories or elementals. The elemental is an emphatically poetic declination of the documentary. After the elementals of water, fire and earth which made up his “Elemental Triptych of Spain”, Val del Omar intended to add a fourth film as a vertex and vortex of his entire works. New scenes of Granada - juxtaposing the Arabian-Andalusian culture which Val del Omar felt in his veins with the hurried glance of the hordes of tourist- give way to a dynamic ecstasy progressively abstract and teaming with images, of a time without a watch, without space, without feet or a floor...
