Synopsis

A meeting of film divas in the north of Denmark: In Skagen the three great actresses of Scandinavian cinema spend a week together. Liv Ullmann, Bibi Andersson and Ghita Norby speak about their careers, love and aging; about good times and bad. Director Wilfried Hauke has brought these celebrated actresses together in front of the camera for the first time, giving an insight into their personalities. Their profoundly personal memories of their lives and their successes are set against their public images, presented in extracts from 50 years of film history.
