Time
"Individual Sicily episodes rarely achieve the same chaotic momentum as the ones set in Hawaii did. Yet the ideas are as fresh and provocative as ever"
United States

"[It] remains television’s most intriguing and precise murder mystery-cum-social satire (...) Rating: ★★★½ (out of 4)"
United Kingdom
The Guardian
"[Mike White's] subversive instinct is to put audience expectations into a neat pile, then burn them. He'll see you next time (...) Rating: ★★★★★ (out of 5)"

"While the new installment doesn’t cut quite as close to the bone as the first did, it alights upon more than a few observations sharp enough to draw blood"
United Kingdom
Empire
"[It] prods and provokes as mischievously and movingly as the first time (...) Rating: ★★★★ (out of 5)"

"The resort's wealthy, obnoxious guests are more interesting this time around, a little more fascinating in a human train-wreck kind of way, a little more … wonderfully awful (in most cases) (...) Rating: ★★★ (out of 4)"

TV Guide
"There are so many elements about this season that make it better than the majority of shows on TV right now (...) but when you know how good 'The White Lotus' can be, why would you want to accept anything less?"

"It is sharp enough to justify the series’ ongoing existence. It’s hard not to wonder, though, what might have happened if White had used the juice from Season One"
United States
Collider
"The second season of 'The White Lotus' is better than the first, as it feels like it’s not trying to prove as much. The characters are given the freedom to take precedence and the action unfolds from there on more smoothly"
United States
SlashFilm
"The second season of 'The White Lotus' puts an awful lot on its plate, but it balances it all to perfection"
United States

"Sometimes the most beguiling pieces of art can hide the most profound and messed-up truths, but other times, it's okay if they just tell an exciting story. In season two, 'The White Lotus' may be on track to do both"
