Synopsis
A fictional film that is nonetheless inspired by an account of two Japanese soon-to-be kamikaze pilots has the two stop by a local school near their base one last time to play the piano before they proceed on their suicide mission against the attacking American forces. It is May 1945 and they play Beethoven's Sonata Number 14 otherwise known as Moonlight Sonata. The teacher is impressed and years later seeks out the relatives of the pilots as the piano is old and about to be discarded.
