Synopsis
This musical feature is the third in a trilogy including two classics in the genre: ‘Hasta que se ponga el sol’ (Anibal Uset, 1972) and ‘Buenos Aires Rock’ (Héctor Olivera, 1982), both produced by Aries Cinematográfica Argentina. The film has been shot in the Siempre Rock festivals, in the city of Cosquín, during the Pepsi Music festival at Obras Stadium and in several locations in Buenos Aires, Rosario, Córdoba, Santa Fe and Montevideo. This time we set out on a journey into the visible as well as the hidden world of today's rock music. Que sea rock does not just present the most popular songs by soloists and bands featuring in the film, but truly goes backstage and shows the artists’ private world, how they write their music, where they live, how they became what they are and what their dreams are.
