- One week in the lives of three strong-willed individuals. Mike is a taxi driver and unrequited Irish-American writer in the post-beat tradition. Mike lives with Maria, a beautiful, cultured Salvadorian who is carrying his child and expects him to live up to the responsibilities of fatherhood. When Irish literary maverick Padric Reilley falls into their lives, the three are confronted with the struggle for control of their own dreams - and for each other.
