- Synopsis
- A story about the passage to maturity that focuses on the first year away from home for Audrey, a young girl who leaves her town to go to university. After her original plan to share an apartment with Nannou, her childhood friend, is thwarted when Nannou fails the entrance exam, Audrey, who until then had no interest in politics, starts to come into contact with new realities. First she is faced with her roommate’s activism and then she goes much farther than she would ever have thought when she starts visiting a squat (where she will end up living) and getting to know the inhabitants. The world she had known until then (her working class family, her boyfriend, her best friend) will be left light years away from the new person forged by the experiences of a year that will change forever what had seemed to be her very predictable future.
