- Synopsis
- When scientists in the Antarctic uncover two mysterious seed pods, the Doctor is called in to investigate. He soon identifies them as Krynoids: a particularly rapacious plant that will, if allowed to germinate, consume all life on Earth. While the Doctor battles the pod infection that is transforming the scientists into carnivorous plants, the remaining pod reaches England: insane plant-lover Harrison Chase has learned of the find and intends to use the alien entity to help plants take over the world...
