- Synopsis
- A fertility expert is called upon to extract the semen and study the DNA of a frozen Bronze Age man discovered in the Alps. Because of a mix-up of samples in the fertility clinic, a woman who has had trouble conceiving is accidentally inseminated with the Bronze Age man's sperm. She gives birth to a healthy boy named Adam, but when the doctor becomes aware of the mix-up, he decides to keep the child's true origin a secret. A few years later, the doctor's private computer files, including his notes regarding the "Bronze Age" child, are stolen and made public. Deeply concerned for the boy's well being, the doctor goes to extremes to protect the child and keep him away from research scientists and the ensuing media frenzy.
