Synopsis: The authors of the film Deep Blue take a fascinating trip over the earth, from north to south and throughout all four seasons, to portray the contrasts between the different parts of the planet and their natural transformations. The survival conditions of certain animal species and their natural behaviour, sometimes with very comical elements, are also part of the extraordinary documentary film made with highly sophisticated techniques at the same time as the BBC’s Planet Earth TV series.
