Synopsis

Immediately after the Second World War, sister Kiku and brother Isamu, children of a Japanese woman and a black American soldier, live with their grandmother in the country. Because their colour is different from Japanese, they'd have a hard time, being bullied by schoolmates or treated like unusual creatures.
