- Synopsis
- Anne Travers (Caroline Goodall) is a solicitor whose career comes first in her life. Her adulterous husband Michael Mitcham (Mark Strong) is a psychologist, but doesn’t seem to figure out that his wife has had it on with his best friend Andrew Pierce (Nathaniel Parker). The convenient arrangement of infidelity comes unglued when Michael’s keys are found on the dead woman’s body. When Michael is charged with murder, Anne decides to be her husband’s solicitor. But, has she signed on to get him off, or to ensure she keeps getting it on with Andrew? Andrew pretends to be deeply concerned about Michael, but not to the extent that it keeps him from trying to get back with Anne at every opportunity. Someone is obviously being set up here.
