- Synopsis
- Journalist Brad Sheridan (Ray Milland) and his wife Midge (Gene Tierney) are unable to have children. Midge leans toward adoption and submits, like her husband, to the rigorous demands of adoption agencies. When she learns that a child has been abandoned at a police station, Midge files for custody, but Brad refuses to go along with his wife's plans until he finds out about the child's parents.
