Synopsis
The Costa da Morte is a region of north-western Galicia in Spain that was considered the end of the world in Roman times. It derives its name from the many tragic shipwrecks that occurred in this rocky, foggy, stormy country. The camera explores the region, focusing on the fishermen and the craftsmen who live there. It reflects the adversarial relationship they have with their land and its elements, examining the mystery of what binds people to their land, their history and legends.
