- Synopsis
- 39 Ep. of 22 min. /The series is a continuation of its predecessors, taking place shortly after where the previous finish. It is sometimes considered the same as the original series, the first season of Justice League Unlimited would be the third and fourth season of Justice League.
It stars a Justice League greatly enlarged, in which the characters from the original series are attached to a large number of superheroes, as well as several DC superheroes appeared as guests on the two seasons of Justice League .
Also unlike the JLA, the series tells the parallel story of the conflict between the League of Justice and the secret government agency known as Project Cadmus. This argument is much discussed in various events that took place during the second season of Justice League to affect the plot of most episodes. It was resolved in an episode of four parts at the end of the second season of Unlimited.
