Synopsis

Steroid pills for breakfast, Botox for dinner and chicken claws served at the funeral... This black, twisted comedy tells the story of 8 year old Randy, who, after discovering the tooth fairy will bring him Barbies, goes to all measures to lose more teeth..

Set in timeless American suburbia with a Stepford Wives/Edward Scissorhands feel, Randy’s big haired, chain smoking mom Daisy celebrates beauty, youth, bodybuilders and the death of her friend's husbands. She feeds her two boys steroid pills to turn them 'the way mommy likes it' and loves throwing "special" parties for her friends. Randy, who stands slightly apart from the otherwise heightened almost grotesque characters doesn't quite warm to the idea of Botox and bodybuilders (after all he is only 8). He is much more interested in the Barbie dolls he sees the next door girl playing with. When he finds a Barbie under his pillow instead of a dollar, Randy starts on a mission to lose as many teeth as possible, and doesn't shy away from any strategies.

Meanwhile, his mom is planning the party of a life time. As the party unfolds in a series of absurd events, Randy gets more and more lost in his obsession with barbies and the girl next door. When he runs out of teeth, what will he sacrifice to escape the twisted party his mom is hosting?
