- Synopsis
- El Vaquero and the Girl is a vigorous and romantic film from Spain, spectacularly photographed in color in Andalusia, with a moving flamenco background and reflecting in interesting fashion many details of ranching in that area. This is the area where the bulls for bullfighting are bred and raised, and the film recounts the tradition that a bull may never be introduced to the cape before entering the ring, lest he be too well educated, and thus unnecessarily endanger the life of the matador.
