About this movie

An infant raised to manhood among savage apes, living by his wits and the law of the jungle, returns to society to claim his inheritance of humanity and privilege. This collision of "wild" and "civilized" worlds is the extraordinary saga of Tarzan, chronicled in Edgar Rice Burroughs' popular book series.

I wouldn't have realised that this film is too fancily detailed for the real origins of Tarzan! How many more else to contribute that? The jungle setting is really a protected national park (Korup national park), I suggested that it is a small but important remnant of the northern Atlantic tropical forest hinterland! I will not travel to this again because of the commercial poaching of chimps and gorillas (which carry many deadly diseases) for food! It is also far too dangerous for the blue screen, because it harbours the most dangerous of all animals (the marsh mosquitoes and their partners the malaria parasites) which can kill you in a day or a week! It is hitherto likely that the big-nosed French actor who played Tarzan (Christopher Lambert) was just too awkward because he acts like a caveman! I also need to know that his adoptive family of chimps are in fact animatronic puppets because their sounds are made by their human voice actors (which are sweaty in their furry costumes)!
